Our Story
Hi, we're Anna and Sofia. In 2021 we moved from Lancaster, PA to Paris. At ages fourteen and twelve we were surrounded by the city's luxury goods and fast fashion trends. Despite this influence, we fell in love with Paris neighborhoods, local shops and thrifting because it offered affordable and unique clothing, and was environmentally friendly. This is how Mission Road began. We decided to take what we loved about thrifting and share it with our American School and Embassy community. The name Mission Road comes from the intersection of two things: the first is paying homage to our roots in Lancaster -- our home in Pennsylvania -- where our street's name is literally Mission Road. Second, we are focused on and proud to serve our new community of Mission Paris.
Our Mission
We are committed to recycling items in excellent condition at affordable prices. Our mission is not only to share what we love, but also to be environmentally conscious and to give back to the local community by donating a portion of our proceeds to Les Restos du Coeur. We also accept donated clothing and accessories to resell at Mission Road. Email us at missionroadthrift@gmail.com to find out more about the donation process. Whether you purchase or donate, we appreciate you joining our mission to be more responsible and caring for the world and the people around us!
